San Francisco Plantation has a bit of history related to my family. In 1954, my mother was asked to pose as a model for a National Geographic photo shoot in San Francisco Plantation. A full page photo of her at the entry doors to the drawing room appeared in the April, 1958 issue of National Geographic Magazine. | |
